Kindle Euphoria

This is my opinion on the books I read. Remember, don't take it personally and don't get all shitty with me over it.  I don't bash the author personally unless the author has bashed the shit out of me and yes one has. So I will bash Madeline Sheehan forever. Otherwise if a book sucks it doesn't mean the person sucks, I've had books I loved and hated by the same author before, it happens. Not everything will please everyone. This is only my opinon and how these particular books made me feel.

My account was removed from GR so at the moment I'm severely lacking in reviews and books but rest assured for the 2013 year I've read over 300 books.

I read this one straight through in one sitting. It's literally been however many hours since I started and I just finished and I'm doing the review now while it's still fresh in my mind. Which means, a LOT of jumbled thoughts. Bear with me. Or bare with me, get naked, that works too.
First off, the cover, rawr. Yes they are a hot couple. That guy doesn't fit the description but hey, can't have everything right? He was supposed to look like a Viking God with dark blonde hair. The guy on the cover doesn't disappoint though let me tell ya.
Ana and Ethan are the main characters in the book. Ethan is the handsome pediatrician who loves his job and is a single father trying to raise a teenager who's been jumping on the rebel train more and more lately. Ana is the hot Dominican goddess who's illegally living in the US and is struggling with every little thing from getting a job to transportation because she's not a US citizen and she's got a family that she loves and is working to take care of.
Ethan meets Ana for the first time when he saves her while being groped and practically molested by the new principal of the school that Ana get's tutoring work from. He hears her screaming at the man to stop touching her and Ethan walks right in to stop a situation that could have gotten pretty bad. As she's running out of the school, Ethan runs after her to make sure she's ok and to offer himself as a witness if she'd like to press charges. He finds out Ana does Spanish tutoring which is perfect timing because he needs a tutor for his son who is behind in class. He hires her to come to his home and help his son.
Ana immediately makes a good impression upon Ethan's son Theo, and tries her best to avoid the chemistry between herself and Ethan. She doesn't want the complications that come with her dating a man who might not understand her problems and her history. The last guy ran off when he found out she was an illegal alien and broke her heart.
Ana and Ethan have the love and the chemistry right. They seem perfect for each other. Ana lies to Ethan. She keeps it from him that she's illegally in the country. She won't open her heart to him. He wants to open his heart to her, but she always keeps him at arms length. She frustrated me there towards the end of the book. She got be a stubbron pain in the ass. Ethan had no doubt in his mind what he wanted from her, he just wasn't clear with her. That could have all been solved with a simple question. It drove me nuts. I can relate though because it seems most "adults" nowadays have shitty communication anyway. So yeah, it's absolutely possible.
This forbidden love from the other side of the tracks but with the added complication of government interference, an overbearing butthole of a brother, a nosy ass screw up of a sister, a horn dog hot headed brother, a busybody neighbor who can't keep her damn piehole shut, all make for an interesting and engaging story. The writing was well done and this was a really good book. Ethan and Theo save the book completely when Ana needed a good kick in the head. Enjoy!
